Security

UL Lafayette Police Department provides security at UL Lafayette NIRC.  Officers of  the UL Lafayette Police Department  patrol NIRC campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The officers are Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified by the State of Louisiana and are state commissioned by the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. The UL Lafayette Police Department have both enforcement and criminal investigative divisions with personnel trained for every aspect of police work. Six officers are currently assigned at NIRC.
