Laboratory Services
Clinical Pathology Laboratory Services are available, on site, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the nonhuman primate population, as well as to monitor animal models for potential adverse effects of test article administration.
Diagnostic/Clinical pathology capabilities include measurements accompanied by species specific normal ranges for:
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Body fluid analysis
- Analytical Chemistry
- Urinalysis
- Microbiology
- Parasitology
Histopathology services can provide:
- On site trimming, embedding, slide preparation, and staining of tissues and biopsies
- OCT frozen block preparation
Additional specialized services available on site include:
- Peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) preparation both freshly isolated and frozen
- Tissue Culture Techniques
- Flow cytometry assays and procedural development
- Cellular separation and fluid replacement techniques using Apheresis
- Cell line generation
- Immunoassays (ELISA)
- Platelet Aggregration Analysis
